Hi, my name is Spice—well that’s what my parents call me along with wild child.

This is me at 6 weeks old—look how adorable I am!  I picked my parents out right away.  They pondered and pondered but I just beat up the rest of the puppies up when they came near them.

My dog mother is CH Ironclad Turrean of Celtics and my dog daddy is CH Oaklane's This Bud's For Us. Mom is a littermate to Ironclads Ivana and Bud was Best Bred by at the 2000 National Specialty and he won AOM, 2nd in Breeder's Cup and Best Stud Dog at the 2001 National Specialty. Kelli, Image of Dale was Best Brood bitch at the National due to Bud and his littermate, Dylan who was also AOM. See Spice's pedigree.

My dog daddy took Best of Breed at the prestigious 2002 Westminster Kennel Club dog show and I got to see him on TV.  It was so cool.  I invited all my friends over to watch with me. Aunt Ivana won BOB at the National Specialty in 2002!

I am just full of energy and I do love to play, run and get into mischief.  I just love to play with Karma and Dax.  Curry is still grouchy sometimes but she will give me kisses when we are snuggling with Mom and Dad.

They tried this “swim” thing with me as a puppy but I have to tell you, I hated it.  It just wasn’t fun but Mom said I needed to know how to swim and how to get out of the pool in case anything ever happened.

Spice at 7 1/2 months. She is turning out to be a beautiful girl, just like her mom!!

Mom and Dad started training me in obedience early.  I am quite bright you know so I picked it easily.  The best thing was playing with the other puppies.  I heard mom telling people about competing in obedience so we went to our first show and I got a 190 and Mom was SO happy!  

I got my CD in just 4 shows.  I scored in the 190s in 2 of the shows and the last show I was 185 ½. 

Spice got her 1^st leg in obedience at the tender age of 13 months and finished her CD at 20 months.

I decided later on that swimming was very fun but I am not the best swimmer. I wear my floatation belt to help my rear stay up. Dad was treating some whippets and they were chasing this thing called a “bunny” in the pool.  I watched and thought it might be great fun so Dad tried it with me and I must admit I am a bunny addict!!  I LOVE to chase my “bunny” aka lure in the pool or on land!!

We do dog shows or what I call the beauty contests.  Mom usually shows me but sometimes Uncle Mike does.  He always has good treats so I like to be with him—plus he is really nice.  We did a show and I won a 4 point major so mom was really happy—I just like the liver!

Mom and I went to New Mexico and I won Best of Breed 3 out of 4 days.
